Alongside her love for music, Joana’s father, a Karate-Do teacher, introduced her to the principles of discipline, balance, and ancient wisdom, a stark contrast to the sensitivity and poetry of Fado. Joana embraced both worlds, finding in the Karate's discipline and perseverance a solid foundation for her approach to music.
